About Darren

Hi, I'm Darren, the person behind Cotswold Experience.

I've always enjoyed exploring the Cotswolds - the villages, countryside, history and, perhaps most of all, the quieter places that are easy to miss.

Cotswold Experience is something I've created alongside my existing job in a senior management role, with the aim of sharing the area I enjoy with visitors in a more relaxed and personal way.

I wanted to offer something different from a typical sightseeing tour. Smaller groups, comfortable travel, plenty of time to explore and a little flexibility along the way. I want guests to feel like they're spending the day exploring with someone who knows and enjoys the area, rather than simply being taken from one attraction to the next.

And while I take the tours seriously, I don't take myself too seriously. There'll be plenty of stories, a bit of humour and, hopefully, a few laughs along the way.
